Making Inclusion Work: From Belief to Practice

About 

This conference aims to: 

  • Build a shared understanding of inclusion that goes beyond labels, programmes, and placements, and focuses on creating responsive learning environments.
  • Shift early childhood intervention (ECI) and preschool practices away from compliance and trying to make children fit a standard, and towards supporting participation, belonging, and learning in everyday routines, families, and communities.
  • Strengthen collaboration between ECI professionals and preschool and kindergarten educators to create inclusive learning environments for every child.
