Clinical Psychologist Directory by the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology 

Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Directory by the Malaysian Association of Speech-Language and Hearing (MASH).  

Music Therapists by the Malaysian Music Therapy Association 

Paediatric Occupational Therapists (pdf) – This list was compiled by Jacqlynn Teong, an occupational therapist, on her own initiative. The list was updated in October 2020.

Service Directory for Persons with Disabilities by Malaysian CARE 

Malaysian CARE compiled a directory with an extensive list of governmental, non-governmental and private organisations that provide services to persons with disabilities in Malaysia. The list of early childhood intervention centres is also included. 

You are encouraged to use the search box to find service providers that suit your needs. Below are some suggested keywords to help you navigate the directory (please use 1-2 keywords): 

  • State, example: Melaka, Pahang 
  • City, example: Seremban, Miri 
  • Type of disability, example: autism, dyslexia, rare (for rare disease) 
  • Type of service, example: 
    • “pemulihan” for community-based rehabilitation (PDK) centres 
    • “speech” for speech therapy 
    • “bengkel or workshop” for sheltered workshops 
    • “thera” for occupational or speech therapy 

Directory of Support Services for Persons with Disabilities by MIND 

Malaysian Information Network on Disabilities (MIND) has a directory that includes a list with many organisations providing support services to persons with disabilities in Malaysia, including early childhood intervention centres. The directory has navigation buttons to filter results by state, age group and type of disability.
